Michelin ist ein 1889 gegründeter Reifenhersteller mit Sitz in Clermont-Ferrand. Die Marke mit dem Michelin-Männchen gehört zu den beiden größten Akteuren auf dem Reifenmarkt weltweit und bietet Lösungen für alle Zweiräder. Das Angebot umfasst komplette Produktreihen für Motorräder und Roller, die auf der Straße, in der Stadt, im Gelände oder bei Rennen eingesetzt werden können.
Der Rennsport ist seit den Anfängen Teil der DNA von Michelin und Michelin ist der Hersteller mit den meisten Weltmeistertiteln bei den wichtigsten Veranstaltungen des Motorrad-Weltverbandes FIM, darunter 13 Siege bei den 24 Stunden von Le Mans für Motorräder und 36 Siege bei der Rallye Dakar für Motorräder.

WIE WÄHLT MAN DEN LASTINDEX AUS?
Der Lastindex muss immer größer oder gleich sein, und zwar, um den ordnungsgemäßen Betrieb und die Sicherheit Ihres Fahrzeugs zu gewährleisten. Es ist daher nicht möglich, einen Reifen mit einem niedrigeren Tragfähigkeitsindex als dem ursprünglichen zu montieren.
WIE WÄHLT MAN DEN GESCHWINDIGKEITSINDEX?
Der Geschwindigkeitsindex gibt die Höchstgeschwindigkeit an, bei der ein Reifen mit der angegebenen Tragfähigkeit sicher fahren kann. Sie dürfen keinen Reifen mit einem niedrigeren Geschwindigkeitsindex als Ihrem Originalreifen montieren.
