WIE WÄHLT MAN DEN LASTINDEX?
Der Tragfähigkeitsindex gibt die maximale Last an, die der Reifen aufnehmen kann. Er muss zu Ihrer Sicherheit und zur Einhaltung der Vorschriften bei einer Verkehrskontrolle, einer technischen Prüfung oder auch für die Versicherung eingehalten werden. Er muss also immer größer oder gleich dem Index der Originalreifen sein, darf aber niemals darunter liegen!
WIE WÄHLT MAN DEN GESCHWINDIGKEITSINDEX?
Der Geschwindigkeitsindex gibt die Höchstgeschwindigkeit an, bei der ein Reifen mit der angegebenen Last sicher fahren kann. Er muss zu Ihrer Sicherheit und zur Einhaltung der Vorschriften bei einer Verkehrskontrolle, einer technischen Prüfung oder auch für die Versicherung eingehalten werden. Er muss also immer größer oder gleich dem Index der Originalreifen sein, aber niemals kleiner!
UND BEI WINTERREIFEN?
Bei Schneereifen können Sie ausnahmsweise einen Reifen mit einem um eine Stufe niedrigeren Index als Ihre Sommerreifen montieren.

CONTINENTAL EcoContact 6-Reifen
Der EcoContact 6 ist in einer Vielzahl von Größen und für eine breite Palette von Fahrzeugen erhältlich und ermöglicht es, Sicherheit, Wirtschaftlichkeit und Spaß miteinander zu verbinden. Der Reifen bietet einen guten Grip, so dass Sie sowohl bei trockener als auch bei nasser Fahrbahn sicher auf der Straße unterwegs sind. Die Gummimischung und das Profilmuster sorgen für ein gutes Handling und reaktionsschnelles Bremsen. Außerdem verringert sie den Rollwiderstand und damit den Kraftstoffverbrauch und die CO²-Emissionen. Der EcoContact 6 verfügt über eine hohe Kilometerleistung, so dass Sie viele Kilometer mit ruhigem Gewissen fahren können.
Grip und Straßenlage
Das optimierte Laufflächenmuster sorgt für eine hervorragende Leistung auf trockener und nasser Fahrbahn. Die Rillen und Rippen des asymmetrischen Profils sorgen für eine optimale Bodenaufstandsfläche, damit Sie sich auf der Straße sicher fühlen können. Bei Regen sorgen sie für eine effektive Wasserableitung und verringern das Risiko von Aquaplaning.
Wirtschaftliches Fahren
Der EcoContact 6 bietet einen hervorragenden Grip bei geringem Rollwiderstand, was vor allem auf die bessere Verteilung der Silica in der Gummimischung zurückzuführen ist. Dadurch trägt er nicht nur zu einer höheren Widerstandsfähigkeit, sondern auch zu geringeren Partikelemissionen und einem sparsameren Fahrverhalten bei.
Konsequente Lebensdauer
Die "Green Chili 2.0" Gummimischung, die CONTINENTAL für seine Lauffläche verwendet, zeigt eine hohe Abriebfestigkeit und passt sich allen Straßenbelägen an. Das Ergebnis ist ein gleichmäßiger Verschleiß und eine lange Lebensdauer.
Abmessungen und Besonderheiten
Der EcoContact 6 wird in einer Vielzahl von Größen angeboten, die von 13 Zoll bis 22 Zoll reichen.
Je nach Größe kann der EcoContact 6 auf dem europäischen Energieeffizienzlabel mit "A", "B" oder "C" bewertet werden.
Die Haftung auf nasser Fahrbahn wird je nach Größe mit "A" bis "B" bewertet.
In einigen Größen hat CONTINENTAL den EcoContact 6 mit Pannenschutzvorrichtungen ausgestattet. Die Runflat-Technologie "SSR" ermöglicht es Ihnen, ohne Angst vor Druckverlust und Reifenpannen zu fahren.
Die "ContiSeal"-Technologie ist eine Lösung, die entwickelt wurde, um Löcher in der Lauffläche abzudichten.
